General information

What is Project Blender?

Project Blender is a new tournament format designed to provide a competitive experience for all players, regardless of their skill level, gender, or gaming experience.

This new approach allows existing teams or those formed for the occasion to compete against the big names in the EMEA scene during four phases spanning from October to December 2025.

During these four competitive phases, the formats will evolve, giving each game played greater strategic and tactical depth while allowing players to earn valuable bounties based on their performance.

Open to all, Project Blender will be broadcast on official channels, but the progress of each player and team can be freely broadcast, in accordance with an ethical charter provided by us.

What is Blender Draft?

Blender Draft is a new competitive approach in VALORANT.

How does Blender Draft work?

In a BO3 match, two teams face off against each other.

Before the match begins, a coin toss determines which team will start the map pick and ban phase, modelled on the VCT sequence.

The team that wins the coin toss is Team A. The team that loses is Team B.

On Map 1, Team A will play a roster of agents. This roster of agents will be banned for Team A on Map 2 and Map 3, if played.

On Map 1, Team B will play a roster of agents. This roster of agents will be banned for Team B on Map 2 and only on Map 2. If there is a Map 3, the roster of agents played by Team B on Map 2 will be banned on Map 3.

This adds an extra layer of strategic depth, as your drafts must be carefully considered to give you tactical options for your upcoming games. A draft is therefore designed for several games, not just the map you are currently playing.
